As a librarian in a large law firm, I’m accustomed to receiving the occasional research request only tangential to the practice of law. However, when Eddington, Boojums and Lemaître started to appear among my targets, I knew that Colin was on a different plane from the rest of us. Quite literally.  And then there was the series of Proc. Roy. Soc. requests dating back over a few centuries... I’m looking forward to this book’s publication to see if I can understand what Colin has been patiently explaining to me all these years!
